to :, I need some help with the eyes and hair. I can't figure out what's making the eyes look creepy. And with the hair, I'm not exactly happy with the way it turned out and I can't seem to figure out how to make it work on another drawing.
Also, I've been trying to figure out how to smooth out the texture in the face but I have not been successful. Tips on that would be appreciated too.

great job for mouse work, really! for smoother texture, use a large brush to get the biggest areas first, then shade the smaller areas. Also, try not to shade skin in general with black or grey - it gives a lifeless color to the skin. Instead, shade with a darker brown, or an unsaturated purple. His eyes look 'creepy' because there is white space around the iris on the right eye, which gives a wide eyed look to it, which in turn makes it look uneven compared to the other eye. Keep an eye (no pun intended) on parts of the face in relation to the other parts of the face. Flip the picture horizontal if you have to, it helps to notice these things well.
