Digital Art / Drawings / Macabre & Horror

"Words like violence, break the silence. They come crashing through, into my little world. Painful to me, pierce right through me. ... Words are very unnecessary, they can only do harm."

My inspiration for this piece came from Breaking Benjamin's cover of "Enjoy the Silence". [link]

There are lots of mistakes in this and I would love for anyone to critique this. Any suggestions is appreciated.

This drawing was down in under 4 hours in Paint tool Sai with waccom intuos 4 small tablet.

Edit: Made some changes. Smoothed out the skin, took away some of the cracks and tried to add dimension to the ones I left. Also attempted at giving the eyebrows texture, but Its not really noticeable. That's going to be something I'll need to practice.

The nose is coming off of the eye instead of the eyebrow. Also the thinnest part of the nose I've noticed is in between the eyes. [link]

Alright at first I LOVE the shading from her face,
second I think there is a beautiful meaning behind it.
I mean there can be more than one meaning behind it, I think it's for everyone just a little bit else.
but I just love it...
and I think it's noticeable to see you added some texture to the eyebrows, it looks good

only thing I would say is maybe to give the cracks more dimension with highlights/dark spots, it seems like you were trying to make it look like cracked pottery or something?

Also to make the eyebrows more realistic try drawing in some individual hairs, since eyebrows do have texture

Other than that, the face is drawn very well, I especially like the curve of the lips. The hollow eyes make this wonderfully creepy

That's a great idea. Thanks for the examples, that is exactly what I was trying to do. I'm thinking about doing more drawings with cracks like this and I will definitely keep that in mind.

Thanks for pointing the eyebrows out too. I missed that detail
